Wiki / American Culture

In the context of the modern world, America or American culture predominantly refers to the United States of America (USA). It is difficult to summarize the roots of American culture as we know it today without failing to mention something critical to its character, nevertheless in sum it tends to represent a certain spirit, a certain bravado, and individualism unlike any other in the world.

Beauty and Desolation lie at both ends of this culture, as the gamut runs from the pinnacle of world changing intellectual achievement to the mindless wastefulness which so often accompanies commercialized life.
